DEKALB COUNTY, Mo. – A Cameron teenager, seriously injured after crashing his car in Dekalb County Wednesday, later died of his injuries.
The family is mourning 
the loss of Matthew A. Eberhart, 16, who lost control of his vehicle on westbound Southeast Gridley Road, four miles Northwest of Cameron around 5:00 yesterday afternoon. Eberhart was not wearing a seat belt when his vehicle went off the North side of the roadway and overturned in a creek.
Eberhart passed away at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph just before 10:00 last night.
