ANDREW COUNTY, Mo. – A teenager, who was not wearing a seat belt, received serious injuries when the car she was riding in crashed in Andrew County yesterday.
Just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, the Missouri Highway Patrol investigated the one vehicle crash on northbound Route W, three miles East of St. Joseph. The report says Sierra Muse, 17, of Country Club traveled off the East side of the road, struck a ditch and came to rest in a field. Muse and another passenger, Lance Whipple, 19, of Cosby received minor injuries.
The passenger not wearing a seat belt, Christina Kneib, 16, of Easton was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
